After extracting the SD1CEbX.7z you get several files:

SHENMUE_DISC_1_CE_BY_XIAOPANG.TXT
SHENMUE_DISC_1_CE_BY_XIAOPANG.CDI


If one of the above files is missing, you're dealing with an
incomplete and altered archive of this game. Better delete it and
look for the full release elsewhere.

### Ripping notes ###

Nothing was ripped or downsampled, it's all there

This edition includes a mod, which replaces all textures for soft-
drinks and their vending machines with their american originals. In
the original US-version of Shenmue, all you get to see is "Jet Cola".
This not only looks like crap, but also makes the game less authentic.
Thanks goes to Iron for having this great idea and for creating and
providing the mod.

### What's the deal with the Complete Editions? ###

My first 99min rips were kinda unoptimized due to external
circumstances. I decided to re-rip some of them. To distinguish
the new rips from my older ones, I called them "Complete Editions".
They have nothing or no essential game data ripped out and
thus preserve almost all or even 100% of the quality of the original
game.

People messaged me and asked me, where they could donate money,
because they liked my rips. So I set up a paypal account. If you
feel that saying thank you just isn't enough, then you can use this

The money is used to cover expenses for 99min blanks, several DCs
to test the rips, compatible burners and to maintain my old comp that
I need to rip and burn the releases with.
