Hooligan has released a rip of this game in 2001, probably from R18's silver. However, there is a problem in CD1:
If you visit the railway station, you have about 25% chance of being reset
to Dreamcast's system menu.
There is a work around for this problem:
1. Never visit the Station. However, you will miss some scenes/CG.
2. Save before visiting the Station.
I have compared the rip with the original GD and found one file is missing.
\Event\XX_RM02.SPT
Well, it is there, but wrongly linked to \BG\CHIEV05_4.ZT1 and the actual
file data cannot be found anywhere inside the rip
I used back all the files from the Hooligan rip (so that I dont have to
downsample hundreds of *.AFS...), insert the real file data and create a
selfboot in NRG format.
I have tested the Hooligan rip before and it was 100% working apart from the
problem mentioned.
It is quit boring to repeat what I have done before capturing all 10 characters again ;) So I just run through my own rip once visiting the Station much more
often that I would need to.
Anyway, I believe my rip is 100% working.
PS. \Event\XX_RM02.SPT is oly 224 bytes long. If you know how to insert a file
into a .cdi file, you can create a .ppf which will be much smaller than my
release.
